For the flange forging sector, flange forgings serve as a cornerstone of the national economy and a vital source of livelihood, particularly in coal‑power applications. Yet the production, value‑added processing, and consumption stages of stainless steel flanges still need substantial enhancement, and their resource development and utilization call for even larger investments. In today’s era of rapid internet advancement, we must adopt a strategic vision: while continuing to leverage traditional approaches, we should also harness the internet to chart the future of the flange industry. Looking ahead, building an industrial internet should first focus on upgrading industrial quality and efficiency. By achieving comprehensive interconnectivity, we can optimize resource allocation across production and sales, align enterprises and industries at different technological stages, and better match supply with demand. This will give rise to new models and business forms—such as large‑scale personalized customization, networked collaborative manufacturing, service‑oriented manufacturing, and intelligent production—thereby significantly enhancing the quality and effectiveness of development.
